Gratierne Zeolit specialises in the sale, technical support and distribution of natural clinoptilolite. We are an established company in London with a sales office in Denmark, selling into Denmark, Scandinavia and Germany, and we deal in one material rather than a catalogue.

Three partners run it, with fifty years between us in production, transport and trade across South East Asia and international businesses behind all three. We are present at both ends of the chain — in the countries the mineral comes from and in the countries it is sold into — and twenty-five years of research sits behind the decision to build this.

Our source is a single sedimentary deposit in South East Asia, worked under a long-term contract. The rock is mined, dried, crushed and screened on site and shipped direct. Nothing is chemically modified — crushing, drying and screening is the entire process, which is also why an unmodified natural mineral of this kind is exempt from REACH registration under Annex V.

We sell directly from the ground to the customer. That vertical chain is not a slogan; it is the reason for the price. A mineral that costs very little at the pit becomes expensive through handling, storage, repackaging and the margin of everyone who touches it. We removed those steps, and we share what that saves with the people who buy from us.

The other half of how we work is harder to put on a price list. This material is sold across Europe with claims that are not true — nitrate removal, phosphate binding, surface areas twenty-five times the real figure. We publish the assay, we publish the limits, and when a customer asks whether it will work in their situation, sometimes the answer is no.
